Purpose of Advertisement Text

Tujuan dalam penulisan advertisement text:
1. Mengajak pembaca untuk membeli atau menggunakan barang atau jasa yang ditawarkan dalam sebuah iklan. (Invite readers to buy or use goods or services offered in an advertisement).
2. Iklankan produk ke publik. (Advertise products to the public).
3. Membangkitkan komunikan dan memberikan informasi tentang suatu produk (bisa berupa barang, jasa, ide, dan sebagainya). Awaken the communicant and provide information about a product (can be in the form of goods, services, ideas, and so on).
4. Upaya membangkitkan kesukaan terhadap produk yang diiklankan dengan memberikan preferensi. (Attempts to generate liking for the advertised product by giving preferences.)

Generic Structure of Advertisement Text

Berikut ini adalah generic structure of advertisement text:
1. Nama produk. Name of the product.
Bagian ini berisi tentang nama atau merek, produk, layanan atau acara yang akan dijual. Sorot informasi yang ingin Anda iklankan. (This section is about the name or brand, product, service or event that will be sold. Highlight the information you want to advertise).
2. Penjelasan. Explanation.
Siapa yang membutuhkan produk Anda? Siapa daerah sasaran untuk produk dan layanan? Apa yang ingin Anda pasarkan harus sesuai dengan target pasar. (Who needs your product? Who are the target areas for products and services? What you want to market must be in accordance with the target market).
